Patty Robinson has recently introduced us her lovely squirrel named Bunk. She found Bunk in her yard and immediately decided to adopt her.
At first, Robison looked for squirrel’s mom but was nowhere to be found. She saw the little baby and decided to help him.
Woman raised squirrel and now they are inseparable.
“When I picked him up for the first time, he melted in my hands. I put him in my pocket and said, you just bunked right in. That’s where I got his name. I said, well, I guess I’m gonna have to call you Bunk. I thought, how hard could it be to raise a squirrel? I did use the internet, which some stuff was true, some stuff was not!”, she told Bored Panda.
Later, she set him free.
“I did free Bunk – he was gone for five days! He returned scared, growling. I tried three more times and he refused to leave!
Squirrels do not make good pets. They’re messy, expensive, they can bite, they need their own room, etc. He wouldn’t leave and I was not going to give up on him!”
But he didn’t want to leave. He wants to stay with his owner.
