The howl of a wolf echoing across the forest is one of the most famous sounds in the world. However, it appears that perfecting that spine-chilling cry requires some practice.
Just look at this adorable wolf puppy.
On one of their forest cameras, researchers from the Voyageurs Wolf Project, a nonprofit dedicated to studying the habits of wolves in northern Minnesota, obtained some cute film.
A newborn wolf is spotted approaching the camera and giving a few little howls to announce his arrival.
“Listen to some of this wolf pup’s first howls, which were recorded just a few weeks ago!” The Voyageurs Wolf Project penned the piece. “A word of caution: the puppy is rather vocal for a 4-week-old puppy!”
